I agree. At present, uw-imap and (IIRC this was done for 9.1)
courier-imap, if you add a user to the system, their mail works (with no

Well, if you need anything besides the users [homes] share, then see the
example for the profiles share. IMHO, additional shares should not be
necessary for each new user (besides the [homes] share samba makes
available).

We need to also look at what kolab does, and maybe have a default setup
that supports all kolab/kontact features.

I haven't had time to look at this in any more detail, and probably
won't in the near future.

Hopefully I will have time to finish changes for openldap soon ...
