I agree. At present, uw-imap and (IIRC this was done for 9.1)
courier-imap, if you add a user to the system, their mail works (with no

Please tell me how they modify (or mess with, depending on your point of view) postfix/sendmail/mta_standard_du_jour to have mail delivered to the imap server, since I couldn't spot that in the spec file.
(ok, uw-imap doesn't really need that, but that's because uw-imap can read the standard mail spool, and that's *the* reason I originally migrated from uw-imap to cyrus).
As for the courier-imap patch (like the cyrus-imapd patch) it doesn't really solve the problem: mail for a recently added user *won't* work until the user logs in to the imap/pop3 server. Mail sent between user creation and first user login will be lost or bounced.
