That is correct; don't pack the flour in; lightly scoop the flour
Into the measuring cup and level off with a straight edged knife or,
In the case of the Pourfect measuring cups from Blind Mice, with the
Leveler provided with the set.

To keep my favorite set of cups and spoons from traveling all over the
Kitchen when stored, I put them in a large otherwise unused loaf pan in my
Silverware drawer, which is wide enough for my silverware tray and
The loaf pan to reside side by side.  That is why I buy three pans
sometimes,
So I can use the extra one to corral small utensils which would otherwise be
tangled up with
Too many other things in my drawers.

Interesting. I was told the proper way to measure flour was to scoop the
flour into the cup, not to dip the cup into the flour. Anyone know?
