Apparently, running the fuel pump without fuel in it has no harmful
effects.  Many pilots in Coupes
have done this for many years, and I'm sure A.D.'s would be issued if it
were harmful.  I very seldomly
run my wing tanks dry, but do so once in a great while.  No problems.  How
about the rest of you?
