John: Towers used to be my business, and I am quite sensitive to the proper notification, by the powers that be, of oversized towers. The FAA is the responsible party for airway notifications, and aviation data on these charts, but NOAA (Department of Commerce) is responsible for all the other data, such as towers, towers that have been removed, railroads, all other data on the charts, also the charts are measured using NAD 83 topographic data. and the towers, and tower heights are registered using NAD 27 data. More than one government entity, and 4 different bureaus, recipe for a foul-up, don't you agree? D.
