Bob: I'd recommend against this too, the reason is that turning it scrapes the oil film off the cylinder walls. It probably doesn't help the cam and lifters much either. I don't think it'll have much effect on the pressure lubed parts. I'm not sure what to recommend at this time. Maybe you can pull the top plugs and spray some oil in or something, but I think you may have problems with the bores when you finally get to it. A boroscope inspection would be a good idea!
