Spook, I totally disagree with you here. You can certainly pick a favorite plane without having to fly all of them. My favorite? Cherokee 400. Next? Super Viking. I've flown neither of these, but I love them all the same. Wouldn't mind having a Swift either, as long as it had the big power conversions. Now, enough with the dreaming. If I could have an aircraft withing the realm of reality, it would be a Turbo Arrow. I've never flown any of these, but I love them just the same.
