Dave: I got into my coupe with a partner for the same reasons you are considering. We looked around at 150's but the coupe changed our minds. I thought I would continue renting cherokee's when I needed a "bigger plane". Guess what, It has been about 2 years since I rented that plane. I am sure
the Cherokee is still fun to fly but the coupe is just fun"er". Like Doug, We started charging ourselves $20.00 per hr. The checkbook was always in the red. At $25 still in the red. Now we are at $30 and things are better. Perhaps $40 would be a better charge. We tie down outside for $25 per month. Jack Russell N93443 Fresno-Chandler
