Dave you lucky devil. You are in the right place. If you want to see coupe's go to (sorry about the spelling here) Tucumcari, NM for Ercoupes. The last time I was there they were rebuilding several coupes to like new specs.
A coupe is simpler than a 150 (no electric flaps, hell no flaps at all). I do not know what to make of this group but it does not reflect on my experience with N2679H. I have owned it since 6/90 and had very good luck. You are talking about 50 year old airplanes here but with attention (not the "buy it at the auto parts store" kind but the "I know a good A&P kind") they are reliable fun flying. My guess is that unless you fly a lot you will end up paying on the average of $40/hr when you figure in insurance, tiedown, main etc but then you can do what I do on a nice day.
