Fellow Hot Heads <g>, I put some Axius brand limo dark static cling sunshade material inside the
top of the canopy in my Alon. It works great. Cuts down the heat, stays in place, and doesn't look bad either. It makes a big difference in how hot you get flying with the canopy closed. I got it at Pep Boys. About $10.00 per roll. which is enough to do one canopy with some small pieces left over for wherever you need it. If you put a small piece on top of the stuff you put in the canopy, it will block out just about all of the sunlight in that spot.
