Hello Ron:

I'll give you a buzz and fill you in on the whole story. Basically I broke
the law and went up and got it Monday without my BFR. I haven't
had enough time to get signed off and saw the bad weather coming.
I decided to take the day off drove up and got it. My wife drove back
and I flew. 

The CFI I am flying with wants me to be able to do a PVT check ride and
I'm still too rusty to please him. I  might be flying sloppy patterns but
I
have enough sense to keep my speed up close to the ground. <G>

This shift work I do is a killer. When I'm off and the wx is good there is
no room on the schedule for CFI and plane. When I'm at work days I can't
get to the airport in time after work. Graveyard I have to sleep during
the
days. This leaves swingshift mornings and the one weekend a month I have
off. :-(

I REALLY need to find a CFI that will fly with me in the 'Coupe! I went
up with the ex owner and shot three landings and was confident enough to
head back to TIW. It really is a simple plane to fly.
