Coupe Capers

It's been long enough that I thought someone would have mentioned Skip's front page articles on the Internet by now, Since no one has I guess I'll be the one to stir up the hornet's nest. First Skip is about 3-4 years late at even being willing to address the issue, and when he does all he can do is to slam it. If you belive Skip's article's, all info off the net is at best questionable and at worse is incorrect as opposed to the extremely limited but absolutely info he puts out in Coupe Capers. He also off rers his legal expertise to tell you what great jeopardy you place yourself in by offering advise or information over the net. Of course being interested in providing us with truth and wisdom as he is he has un subscribed to this mail list. After all those greedy lawyers will sooner or later become computer literate enough to figure out what a potential gold mine there is out here suing Coupers.
Skip also hasn't figured out that (despite his claim that no one wants coupe capers by E-mail) that he could reduce costs by sending out both an E version and a regular print version. He has no concept of what web pages are all about and sees them only competition for his business of the type club. Of course even though he owns the type club, along with the Cessna 120/140 and I belive also the 150 type clubs he is no longer an Ercoupe owner. Please note that since I do not have his "written permission" to mention the type club's name I only will refer to it here as "Type Club".
Personally I feel Skip's attitude towards change is rather Neanderthal and I for one will not be renewing my subscription or membership next time around.
