Skip, I read your article in cope capers. I would hate to see us not have the regular publication. While I am a user of the internet, there are some disadvantages. You might want to consider how the Cessna Pilot's Association handled it. They put up a Central webpage that primarily handles technical issues. The newsletter handles the more "newsy" items, but has some technical issues as well.
Your probably right in your comment that 'coupers probably have more sites out there, per capita, than any other pilot group. But then, we fly a better class of airplane so that is to be expected. :-) I think there is an effort evolving to link the various sites. When that happens, I suspect the next step will be for the various sites to take on a particular component of interest so that the sites compliment each other as opposed to duplicate each other.....thereby providing a solid information base for all coupe owners, ercoupe and Aircoupe alike. What might be informative at this point, would be to put together a survey for coupe owners and find out what they would like to see from the central organization. Example, one of the things I would like to see is an on-line e-mail directory for the EOC much like that used by the Oregon Pilot's Association. One of the nice advantages of the internet and e-mail, is our ability to communicate ideas quickly to a target audience, so it should definitely be a component of the EOC. That's my two cents Keith Bolte N5663F P.S. Jim and Mi Vida! Quit fighting about x-wind landings. Damn...can't take you kids anywhere! :-)
