Hi,

Why don't you set up an alias [EMAIL PROTECTED] which forwards to all these
users' mailboxes? Then you can set their mail clients to send as [EMAIL
PROTECTED] and mail on [EMAIL PROTECTED] will be receive by all of them, the
only problem is that users will only see their own sent messages.

I think the ideal solution for your scenario would actually be to use a
ticketing system such as osTicket, that is what we use here to obtain the same
goal, we've used the above setup before, but ticketing works out best, then two
people won't accidentaly reply to the same mail (this could happen even on
mailbox sharing).

Hope this helps,

Lionel

I need some users to be able to see the mailbox of [EMAIL PROTECTED], and would
be thanked too by them (the same users that want to see the mail of [EMAIL
PROTECTED]) to be able too to answer to those mails as [EMAIL PROTECTED] so
they wanted to view and to be able to send mails with this account too... but
if you say there could be mailbox corruptions because of sharing the same imap
box in several computers perhaps I need to find another system of getting this
goal... I though this was simple and it should work but have that doubt.... if
it could become corrupt or could be a thing that could cause problems....

thanks a lot Lionel!!!

Hi!

It would probably work, though I'm not that sure I would recommend it, what are
you trying to accomplish by sharing the mailbox? Isn't there maybe a better way
to achieve your goal?

Lionel

Hi!!!

I'm trying to share a mailbox between some users... and I though could be a
nice idea to configure they're outlook express clients to connect to the same
imap account.... this way all users would be connected to the same imap account
and sharing the same mailbox with all his folders... is this a bad idea or is a
quite common solution? could cause the mailbox to become corrupt? should this
be done perhaps another way (the fact of sharing a mailbox I mean...)?

Thanks a lot mates!!! nice day!
