The point is the game / engine, call it what you like has problems with it.
These problems cause us headaches ever day, when people like insist they simply
MUST have 128 but also want ZYX working perfectly, with the reason for wanting
the higher tick is because its a higher number, and internet says it improves
things so i simply must be better!!1111.
The easy solution for everyone is that it gets locked again which prevents all
the procrastination about what's better, because its simply not an option any
more.
IMO personal opinion Valve did the CS community a huge favour when they removed
it last time, so I'm hoping they do so again :)

Steve

Subject: Re: [Csgo_servers] 128 tickrate server makes door at de_nukeor
de_nuke_se move slower than when it is @ 64 tick server
Yeah 100% agreed. Actually, I dont even understand why this conversation
exists at all, since theres a another topic in this mailing list where people
are whining that there is a hit registration problems when runnin 64tick
servers, and now some retards are trying to get the tickrate locked to 64?
I mean WTF are you guys retarded or something? If someone really dare to
claim that there is no difference in hit registraion between 64tick or 128tick
servers he HAS to be mentally impaired. FFS this is a mailing list for server
admins and every server admin should know the difference.
Well, maybe multiplay just has crappy servers that cant run 128 tick
servers...
