I don't think that's 64tick is faster tbh ;-)

That said fix everything at 128 tick rate and remove 64 and I'd get behind that

  it's 64tick being faster.

  To make everybody happy hpe they will take away the 64tick option and force 
the servers to run only at 128tick.

  So who wants 128tick can have it, and who wants "locked" tickrate have it too 
:)
