I don't know...but they really ought to reexamine this policy. Did you see
the 60 Minutes piece last night about Medicare paying for "treatments" at a
Christian Science "Healing" Center? The fact is that they pay for a lot of BS.
Maybe they think that the placebo effect, proven to exist, is an inexpensive
way to placate problem (read chronic, "professional") patients..

Nah...not unless someone claims that hydrotherapy cures cancer or AIDS or
something equally inane...
