If AOL were the only Internet provider I would NOT be on the net.
They are REALLY a ratty company:
When you want to unsubscribe they keep you hanging and hanging, while
weeks are passing and you are paying and paying.
They practice dictatorial rules and censorship: using Cyberpatrol, THEY
decide which sites they will block you from, based on THEIR
perverted, contorted, prejudicial choices.
They are FOR gun control
When you use their CD to set up the connection they take privileges
with your computer that you did not know about, much less agree
to (confirmed in email below).

Recently they changed a friend's password, so that she could not
get into her account. When she called them they said "it's normal"
to disable your password after you have been using the same one
for a while. IF THEY WANT YOU TO CHANGE IT PERIODICALLY
THEY SHOULD SAY SO, NOT JUST LOCK YOU OUT!!!!!!!!
I don't want them, EVER.
