If that's the case for all Debian, then that shouldn't be too hard to handle
from a context perspective.

I never understood why this doesn't work for Debian, though...

That sounds like a seriously broken concept to me.

That works for every list I read, and none of them sets a reply-to header.
Admittedly, I read some of them through Gmane, so I can't tell how the lists
are set up originally.
