Look, it's just a theme, there are a hundred themes.
That's the point, I think, and the same may be said about MoinMoin.
The issues with Moin are not just a matter of switching tables to CSS.
It is hard to navigate around Moin. And yes, I know what I'm talking
about. I'm not an usability expert, but I have studied usability for
several years and my daytime job is to make usable websites and web
apps. The concern I raised with Moin is not that it's ugly, and Trent's
nit-picking on a website that took only 24min is not fair in the light
of the much bigger problems in the current Darcs website.
Are you trying to insult me?
Daniel, please don't take these argumentations as ad-personam attacks:
Some of the things in Trent's emails were hard to take otherwise. I
didn't start making websites yesterday. He was also very dismissive. It
doesn't look like he even considered what I wrote.
keep in mind that if, as you noticed, the documentation is very
sparse, the man-power behind darcs is relatively scarce
I'd think that Trent could treat an in-comer, potential volunteer, a bit
better. Eric managed to disagree with me and convince me to use gitit
while being polite, respectful and friendly.
Daniel.
