I think Rob has a point here.... when you are looking at an image you don't
really care where the focus point was at shoot-time, you are interested by
what is actually in focus in the image and that can only be seen by looking
closely at the image.
however that doesn't mean that being able to display the focus point is
useless... it's a feature that would be VERY usefull in tethered mode (once
we have it in tethered mode, we could probably add it easily to darkroom
mode, but I still really don't see the point in doing that)
however it always boils down to the same question : who has time and
motivation to work on that ?
i'm sure that if someone implements it we will gladly merge the feature,
but no dev seems interested in implementing that (or, at least, has voiced
as such)
So yeah. Good idea, hope to see it implemented at some point, won't happen
unless someone does it.
