Kelvie, I'm still not sure why I respond...

You're kidding right, a few libraries from the proprietary AMDGPU-PRO driver, why are you saying this is not the proprietary driver???? > It worked like a charm for me on the latest Ubuntu: open source > drivers on the latest kernel 4.11 RC! > Nvidia doesn't even support this kernel right now afaik. Not tested, but the dkms package from Debian is *always* working with the current kernel on any branch (stable, testing, unstable). Current kernel is 4.9. When 4.10 will be out it will be working. I've not had bad experience since many years using latest stable kernel. And again it is working for you because you are lucky to have a supported AMD card. But I've already said that 3 times in this thread... -- Pascal Obry / Magny Les Hameaux (78) The best way to travel is by means of imagination http://www.obry.net gpg --keyserver keys.gnupg.net --recv-key F949BD3B ____________________________________________________________________________ darktable user mailing list to unsubscribe send a mail to darktable-user+unsubscr...@lists.darktable.org
