I guess your proper solution (I assume you're in some sort of studio setting
with a lighting situation that doesn't change throughout your shoot) would be
to place a color chart where your subject will be and shoot that. Then go on
and shoot your subjects and later in DT develop your color chart properly first
(compare the real chart and what you see on your calibrated monitor). These
settings should then develop your other RAWs properly.

I never shoot in jpeg, but because of the colour matching problems I've been
having, I'm going to have to shoot in raw+jpeg for these shoots because it's
the only way to know what colour the camera thinks is there.
As for the colour profile, on Canon, they have several different types of
colour styles, the Faithful style is supposed to match colours exactly when
white balance is set to sunlight. I've been able to upload custom colour
styles to the camera, and apparently it's possible to download the colour
profiles from the camera too.

I don't know what the Faithful mode actually does; what I can image
is that it uses a built-in profile, once measured by Canon, to
produce sRGB or AdobeRGB with exactly the colours the camera sees
(excluding white balance and exposure). But do you really shoot in
JPEG?

I don't think you can export this built-in profile. And it is
probably not better than the "standard matrix" in DT. You have two
options:
1. Try the standard colour matrix instead of the enhanced colour
matrix for your camera in DT's input profile module.
2. Create your own profile, which implies to order a colour chart on
the Internet.
I can provide additional information for (2) if this is interesting
to you.
Tschö,
Torsten.
