I'm sure you have been watching this thread. Suggestion: if Declude is determined to use only the install program, have person responsible for it add an option to update only -- copying over the old declude.exe and leaving the configuration and eml's intact. (I haven't used the install program, so I'm assuming this option isn't there based on others comments.)
This is a bug. A Declude install program absolutely, positively should not change any .eml files (unless you specifically request it to do so). I'll see what I can find out about this.
