Updated Wily today to kernel:
3.19.0-20-generic #20-Ubuntu SMP Fri May 29 10:10:47 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64
x86_64 GNU/Linux

Eight times out of nine booted with normal wallpaper. Hashed once which was
readily fixed with command line:
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.background picture-uri
'file:////home/jerry/Pictures/Shark_Island.jpg'

Getting better, waiting for the next "dread update". This is U+1 after
all. There's always LTS which runs fine, thank you.
