Thanks for testing. If your CD player doesn't work, then this is probably a bug in cdda2wav or the USCSI interfaces. Note that the cdda2wav GStreamer uses cdda2wav to extract audio. Some things to try to help narrow down the problem. Try running cdda2wav to extract an audio file. Does it create a a 0-length file, or does it create a file that contains silence? Does adding the ts=63k argument to the options of cdda2wav make it work better? Does the "cdrw -x" command work for extracting audio from the CD player that doesn't seem to work with cdda2wav? I would file a bug report at http://defect.opensolaris.org and provide information about what is happening (such as the results of the above commands I suggest you try) and also attach the output of running "cdda2wav -e" and "cdda2wav -V". Also provide information about the model/type of the CD player that does not work.
