You're right, there's a lot to think about.  I was hoping this first
draft would generate more of a "focus group" type of discussion, which
isn't really meant to generate a consensus straight away.  The plan is
to categorise all the feedback as it comes in, and decide the best way
to proceed from there.

I agree there are probably one or two topics that it might be useful to
vote on, so we might do that.  But at the same time, I'm also very wary
of (a) designing by committee, and (b) assuming that the people on this
list are representative of typical OpenSolaris users :)
