What is a typical OpenSolaris user expected to be?

OpenSolaris can be installed in server type environments, or in
"desktop" type environments. The server needs a visual interface to
support administration tools but is not likely to benefit from most of
the "junk" which is useful for "desktop" type environments. In fact,
it would be embarrasing to see games, digital camera tools, and
StarOffice on a server install. A server needs more efficient access
to monitoring tools, and to bring up terminals.

The implication is that there should be an efficient stripped-down
environment for use on servers, and a more visually rich environment
for workstation type uses.
