Furthermore, the fluendo codecs are legal. You pay for the the formats you want to use. There's nothing wrong in paying for things imho. I also know you can play i.e. wmf files with other software, but the use of that software is not legal. If you can live with that, please use VLC or mplayer. They work fine.
