Ah, good idea. Didnt think about that. Anyway, here is the VLC list of codecs: http://wiki.videolan.org/VLC_Features_Formats It seems that VLC plays a lot more codecs than fluendo. But, Ive heard that MPlayer (which is available for Solaris) plays more codecs than VLC.
