I was having the same problem yesterday. Haven't tried today. Sometimes it
would - sometimes it wouldn't.
Something is wrong with the test environemt I rekon - but of course the
usual response is... "Must be something wrong with your setup." Which is the
standard system administrator response. I've used it myself.
I was getting EXACTLY the same reponse. The Authentication error. and no,
there is nothing wrong here. The exact same set up worked fine the day
before yesterday.
