Same here. We are using FreeBSD and Apache right now, and it is just great!
We have also used UNIX/Apache and seemed like a very reliable setup.

REALIZE! I have no intensions of any "FLAME WAR". Just curious what other
webmasters preference is. Maybe we just had a lousy experience. However,
even on our desktop machines with Windows, memory management is lousy. After
2 days all the machines need restarted. Memory just seems to "Disappear!" So
it didn't surprise me that the windows server package followed suite....
