Is that really enough that people who are currently beta users will
have an expectation that Firefox will send back, without prompting,
information about its internal workings?
I don't know, but it's also something that we can change for new users.
Am I right in thinking that existing beta users would be opted in
without prompt, or would there be a prompt?
This was in my original message: "As part of the transition, we will be
re-showing the “data choices” notice to Firefox users on the beta channel."
