I am not so sure about it. I think it's quite the opposite. We can keep link to our website, and actually it is even easier to make PRs to our website. There is the "Suggest a change on this page" Github link at the bottom that opens PR that you can edit and add new company in literally a few seconds. And with recent automation, just merging the PR will make the change visible automatically on our website. So I think it might be even easier, and I think we can make it a more prominent whole new page "Who uses Airflow?". Similarly as we added Ecosystem. I would argue, that people will get more incentive on adding their company to "airlfow.apache.org" rather than the README file, where - essentially - the list is buried at the end of the page. On the other hand - I think most of the companies are already on the list. We see that the list is not updated all that frequently. the history below. Looking at the responses so far, I tend to think that if more people see it as a bit of awkward I'd lean towards moving it to the new "Who uses Airflow?" page on airflow.org.
