I'd say the hard part is when A has significant state that isn't preserved when it dies. This makes it seem from client's perspective as if the process at the other end has simply forgotten about the commands it has been given previously. Hotswapping stateless stuff is easy. Stateful stuff - that's the hard part. /LS
