Hi All Thanks everyone for your feedback and comments. Here is a quick update of what is happening.
I've sent a response to them asking for confirmation about ASF involvement in the event (so to see if we have any projects involved or have any ASF related speakers participating). I have mentioned the ASF vendor neutrality and have requested to see an example of their email marketing to ensure that it is appropriate and informative. Finally I have highlighted that any event communication would be limited to the ComDev mailing list, the ComDev twitter account and the ComDev blog only. So now let's wait to see what response comes back.
