Okay, using your extension, I reproduced the problems, and fixed them
based on your patch. Effectively, the only thing I changed was
introducing a dedicated UserDefinedFeatures class (since nowadays I'm
more in favor of "one class, one responsibility" than I was at the time
the OGenericUnoController class was first written ...), everything else
is as you suggested it - thanks! (Ah, and I fixed the crash which
happened when the controller was asked for its selection "too early", by
being more tolerant then.)
I will commit this fix to CWS dba31b - the issue probably does not
really qualify as stopper for 3.0, though this is sad indeed.
:-( does this mean it will have to wait to 3.1 (which, if IIRC, is
intended to Jan. 2009)?
