These two latter examples are a bit off the mark as Adbode and Compuserv
(?) have both released there specs so they have contributed.

Good idea. Any idea on how to start creating such an extension? I am
willing to try if there is some sort of example.

I wasn't thinking of invoicing, if that is what you are thinking. What I
was suggesting is that monetary contributions are something that could
be done to warrant the exposure.
