It does definitely concentrate the workload on a small group, but on the other hand we are seeing edits done on the Doc Wiki (all parts): - People are adding comments on the Doc Wiki discussion pages - People are editing the FAQs on a semi regular basis - People are correcting typos, clarifying sentences etc. - People are rewriting and adding new sections to the Developer docs They may not be clearly visible high volume contributors, but there is a small amount of effort showing up from an almost invisible new group who are editing the Wiki docs. The only way I notice these edits though is through my daily browse of the Recent changes on the Wiki. This past week, five new members were added to the Doc Project as observers. There are ten or so new members per monthm but we rarely hear from them again after their Observer status is granted. I can try to contact each new applicant personally by email and see if they can provide us some insight as to why they applied to be an Observer on the project... maybe there will be a clue there for what we can do to encourage more people to be more active in the project.
