Just another thought on this topic. We don't see a lot of work being done on the English docs outside of that done by a very small core group of people, but there is some translation work being done by the community.... just one example... a Slovenian translation of the Migration guide has recently been started: http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Documentation/SL/Uporabniki_priroc(nik_OOoAuthors/Migracijski_vodnik There are quite a few other examples - the French community has translated a lot of the FAQ documentation... the Chinese community is working hard on translating the Developer documents... other language groups are working on various other bits (especially so now that the doc sources are easily accessible on the Wiki).
