Hi all,
I would like to express my disappointment too.
I saw the slides of the presentation, and even the title is deceiving to
my eyes.
This presentation attempts to tell you that OOoAuthors is "THE" way to
contribute to documentation. What OOoAuthors may not tell you is that
there are other ways to contribute to documentation.
While I can certainly appreciate Daniel's attempt to answer to
difficulty of using our site's tools, I think it would certainly have
been better if he had put his talent and energy at teaching people how
to use OOo's site tools (cvs, mailing lists)rather than coming up with
an external site and incompatible licences.
By the way, one should be aware that by contributing works to
OOoAuthors, he/she will not be able to have it included in the official
documentation corpus of OOo. I only hope that all the OOoAuthors
contributors will realize that their only chance is that the Community
Council accepts the CC's licensing scheme.

Anyway. I totally agree with Sophie. The wording on OOoAuthors makes a
good job denegating the very existence of the fr documentation
community, and it is simply unacceptable. But Daniel knows all this
since he does that ON PURPOSE.
OOoAuthors is a community fork, despite the amount of work some people
inside or outside the NLC have invested in it.

Charles.
