Roddy,

could you explain why you think this would be a coherent group and most importantly, do you have contacts and interests in that area? Ultimately, some native-language projects will have to be created on top of it.

best,
Charles.

I would be interested in a Pacific Islands grouping, including Hawaii,
Easter Island but excluding Australia. But including New Zealand

+1 to all this. At this stage we have three "existing" groups:
- Indic
- CJK (Chinese-Japanese-Korean)
- Eurasian (Russian-Turkish-Ukrainian-Georgian-Azeri-Armenian- others)

These groups exist more in the concept that as operative teams in
reality but we can certainly reactivate them.

May be they would like to give inputs on
- why they are grouped this way?
- what do they want to achieve?
- why does it stay at the concept stage?
- what would be needed for them to go further?
- who is the coordinator, do they need one?

For all the NLC projects, I would like also that they think about
Regional Groups and where it could improve their communication but also
their work. Please don't hesitate to speak :)

Kind regards
Sophie
