Yes the pot files for open office are presently being translated into a
Tainui dialect of Maori. At some stage it will be ready, but not now, to be
compiled.
We work closely at a radio and television station so much of the
communications is voice over a cup of coffee.

Developing a wider group on line would be the next stage to formalise the
process.

I would like some help introducing our translator of Tainui Maori to this
group. The 10's of others are older and do not rely on the computer to
communicate. So only a few will be linked in to the forum at this stage.

Also it would be helpful to have a list of present languages in the pacific
that have translation grounps. I think that there would however be non set
up. So I would like to learn how to set up a group for Tainui and then
replicate this process for pacific islands groups what are close by.
