I was not influenced by David's decision on multi-tenants for Moqui. It only 
confirms what I was wondering about.
Actually it was only after asking David for his permission to talk about the work we did together in 2010 that it occurred to me that Moqui is now using the multi-instances way. I did not know. It was after reading the LinkedIn article I re-tweeted few weeks ago [1], that I began to think about the situation, though it's a long time I'm worried about it, as the Jira references I used show.

And to complete my previous answer, we indeed need to care, because it's an 
important (architectural) decision.
