With my Board of Directors hat on ... no, don't do that.

Let me explain *my* thinking here. The slack instance is called
apache-pinot.slack.com, and whatever history led to this being created by
and/or "owned" by StarTree (a history that I am unaware of, and isn't
particularly important to this point) is trumped by the fact that nane "Apache
Pinot" is owned by the Apache Software Foundation, and, specifically, the
Apache Pinot PMC.

Changing this to "StarTree Anything" is abuse of that trademark, and will incur
the wrath of the Apache Trademarks committee.

Furthermore, it is an anti-community action, in that it indicates that StarTree
"owns" Pinot - which it does not. This, in turn, discourages participation by
persons who are not part of your organization, and sets StarTree up as somehow
authoritative over the project.

I hope that my reasoning here is clear, but I would be glad to discuss this
further with you if there's anything I can clarify. Yes, I'm being very
forceful here, because I want you to understand the importance of this. This
isn't a "we'd rather you didn't", but a "Do not do this." One of the core
tenants of Apache is vendor neutrality.

Thanks.
