RE: patching - patch -p0 should work (Felix - how did you apply the other
git-generated patches I've submitted?). I'll doublecheck tonight after moving
the goals into a separate module and making some of the other changes
suggested. Agree that a separate plugin (maven-launchpad-plugin?) will ease the
path to moving Launchpad over to Felix.
I'll have to write another plugin to do the SNAPSHOT checking. It won't
automatically be used by the release plugin, plugin users will need to
configure it using preparationGoals
(http://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-release-plugin/prepare-mojo.html#preparationGoals).
