Neither of these is an English word... ;-)
Yeah, I talked it over with Josh Bloch yesterday. Even though it's not
a real word, we thought it best to keep it because it's been used in
both Struts and WebWork for a long time (not to mention many other
APIs).
As for the spelling, with English there are no hard and fast rules,
but the general rule is to drop the "e". Debate is to debatable as
validate is to validatable.
Barring that, we computed G(n) (the number of results returned by Google):
G("Validateable") = 16.5k
G("Validatable") = 105k
