Hi Frank,

As said to Jörg I believe the current design covers everything from a link point of view. I do have, however, some comments on style. But we could get this page life now already, since it is much better than the current one.

> proposal for the replacement of http://download.openoffice.org/index.html with http://download.openoffice.org/draft.html

First of all, there are too many buttons now, and/or they are too large. This page was designed to have 3 of these very large buttons, now there are 5 and I think it is getting a bit too much on the eye...

Suggested solution: You added the light green bar below the button (thanks), use this bar to link to:
Get OpenOffice.org on CD-ROM - Other systems and languages - P2P Downloads

And remove both the big button referring to P2P and CDROM.

Secondly,

Documentation
   * Product information
   * Release Notes <- increase importance by moving it up
   * System Requirements
   * Installation Instructions
* -Set Up Guide- <- /move/ link to "Installation Instructions" page; otherwise confusing
   * User Guides
   * Support
   * Java and OpenOffice.org
   * MD5sums <-- move to bottom of this list, only for expert users

Additional Resources

   * Dictionaries
   * Localizations
   * Clipart & Templates
   * Extensions
* -Download manager/s/- <- move link to installation instructions (it is no OpenOffice.org product)

Other versions
Development <- Remove heading

   * Development builds
* -Release candidates- <- delete? overlap with development builds, right?
   * OpenOffice.org SDK
   * UNO Runtime Environment (URE)
   * Source
* Older versions <- new page, linking and explaining why there is still 1.1.5 (and could become a 'version archive'?)

g.,

Maarten
