Hi Alexandro,
As there is quite seldom domains are set up, very few takes care of
that
process. Stefan and a couple of other people can do that, just ask.
As far
as I know the process is not documented, again since it's not done very
often.
As restrictiveness is good to not confuse visitors where to find a
specific
information, if Stefan is unsure whether there is a bigger interest
in the
domain, I think he would ask the community council or a specific
project.
QATrack is one tool e.g. which is documented in the QA project and used
daily by QA engineers. He helped me with questions regarding that.

A thanks Per, this is what I wanted to know...
Also in QATrack case, was this hosted on a Sun server or a third
party server. Basically I want to know if Stefan (let say he is the
domain holder). Can take in external servers (technically speaking,
and policy wise).
Sure - it's a DNS thingie
qatrack IN A 85.214.45.195
or:
crm IN A 62.181.198.156
This issue will come up with the new Kenai framework. I'll ask if this
process can be documented then. I think it should.
