That's a really good point; we should endeavour to use a common CSS framework across all sites (which also implies a common HTML framework - in terms of layout). Right now, each site uses its own CSS adapted from the main website with different classes, etc. Creating a robust and reusable CSS framework would be one of the top priorities; it would serve as the base, and other websites could then build on it. > It's possible to set up a mockup elsewhere, but who could set up a vhost > to work in? At this stage I don't think we need to worry about that so much - we're only at the very early ideas stage. Mockups can come later, and even the early stage of discussing ideas will need to involve other projects (especially UX, branding and native-lang). To keep things moving, I have created a new wiki section in the website project where we can list ideas ... feel free to add your own. http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Website/2010_Redesign http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Website/2010_Redesign/Ideas Regards, Ivan. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
